Privacy Policy

What we collect

We only collect what your member account needs to work:

• Account data: name, email address, and a profile photo if you choose to upload one.
• Notification token: a device identifier that lets us send you push notifications. It is stored only if you allow notifications.
• App content: your schedule assignments, groups, and the announcements you receive.

We do not collect location, contacts, or health data, and we do not use advertising trackers or sell information to third parties.

How we use it

• Sign you in and display your profile.
• Show your calendar, your groups, and your service assignments.
• Send you notifications about services and church announcements.

Where it is stored

Data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, Storage, and Cloud Messaging), which acts as our infrastructure provider. Access is limited to authorized church leadership.

Donations

Giving is processed by Tithe.ly outside of the app. Templo Betel never receives or stores your card or bank details. See Tithe.ly's own privacy policy for how they handle that data.

Notifications

Push notifications are optional. The app works fully if you decline them, and you can turn them off at any time in your device settings.

Your rights

You can view and edit your data from your profile in the app. You can also delete your account and all of its data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account, or request it at templobetelfw.org/account/delete.

Children

The app is intended for the general congregation. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without parental consent.

Changes

If we update this policy we will post the new version on this page along with its update date.
